Punta Cana is a key travel destination located in the easternmost point of the Dominican Republic. It's a great place to go if you're looking for a vacation full of leisure time on the beach(they have some of the cleanest, safest, beaches in the world). However, there is much more to this destination than just the beaches. Horse back riding, spa treatments, water sports, and golfing are among dozens of activities offered. In addition Punta Cana has several great restaurants, as well as resort-casinos in which to kick back and have a great time. I have to say, one of my favorite things about this destination is that the temperatures year round stay in the low to mid eighties meaning this is a great retreat for those looking to escape to leisure any time of the year.
